Stroking ImagesIn this tutorial, you will learn how to create a simple and basic stroke, or border, around an image.Step 1: Create a new document, background contents white, and paste in your image. I'll be using this one. ![]() Step 2: Make a new layer. Press Ctrl+A, or select the whole image. ![]() Step 3: Make sure that your foreground and background colors go with the image. Go to Edit -> Stroke and put in the settings below. ![]() Be sure to use your own color. =D Step 4: Switch the foreground and background colors and repeat step 3, only this time, make the width of the stroke 2 px. Step 5: Switch the foreground and background colors one last time and do the same thing, but this time, change the width to 1 px. And you're finished!
